System: Cy_Borg is the dark cyberpunk spinoff of Mork Borg. It is a lightweight OSR system with rules about punks trying to survive in a late stage capitalist hellscape of a city that is actively collapsing around them. Rules are super light and easy to pick up, I can share them with anyone interested.

Premise: The Albatross was a shitty little bodaga and dive bar, but it felt like the last real place in Cy. You were all regulars there when it was still open, and the owner, Niel, knew each of you personally. As soon as he died, the corporate vultures started circling, hoping to squeeze every last drop of debt they can out of his body. The bar is shuttered until everything can be liquidated, and then probably gutted by a corp and replaced with some fast food chain. As each of you prepares for Niel's funeral today, you wish it didn’t have to be this way.

Players: Ideally at least three players. Classes optional.

As long as it is after this semester, I could be interested. Looks super fun and different.

Can you tell us anymore in the way of the overarching story without giving it away? Will the game be dialogue focused? Adventure/exploration focused? Combat focused? etc.

Getting a ready for a funeral and being pissed off is a good start.

The game will be primarily investigation/exploration driven at least to start, as your dead friend had more secrets than you knew. You will be immediately opposed by several megacorporate creditors who each want something from his estate. In order to appease the creditors, you will need to either somehow come up with enough credits to pay off his debts or gain some other form of leverage to negotiate with. Combat will be brief but impactful when it occurs.

I would be interested in seeing the rules - things should be settling down a bit for the summer and it is a good time to be in character creation and team building

This may be the most anxiety inducing ruleset I have ever seen in my life, and I've played Shadowrun RPG.

The book is chaotic but the system is just roll d20+stat and try to get above a 12. It’s all summarized in 2 pages at the end of the book
