Interest check: DnD 3.5 OR Pathfinder 1E - 4-6 Players [Closed]

So as part of my return, I will possibly run a game.

Just need to know if there would be enough interest for a Pathfinder or DnD 3.5 game; and which would have more interest.

I will absolutely need at least 4, preferably 6 or so players for either option, to cope with people dropping out.

EIther will start at level 1 - it will be published modules; my new job doesn't really give me enough time to craft my own adventures.

I'd be up for giving this a go. Perhaps aim for 4 to start and that might tempt more in once you get going. Anyway I'm game if others are.

I'm willing to start with 4 - issue I have with just 4 is it doesn't cover player drop-outs.

I have an old-school RL game this weekend; I'll do a proper pitch next week - leaning towards Pathfinder unless there is a stronger preference to something else.

Indifferent re: systems, but have not (yet) played Pathfinder

I'm interested. I have a slight preference for 3.5, as I own a lot of the books for it, but I'd be good with PF1e as well.

I'm more familiar with DnD but I'm game for either system.

I am willing to run 3.5 if it's the majority decision; will just need a bit more time to figure out module and need to identify which 3.5 books I still have. PF SRD does make it a bit easier; and that I like Golarion more than either Greyhawk or Forgotten Realms - if it's 3.5 I'll probably use a homebrew world.

If we go for 3.5, we could still play on Golarion.

I did a touch of research (Golarion looks like a great setting) and would prefer Pathfinder after all

So clarifying:

Game will be 1E PF. Aim for daily, or at least 4 times a week - I won't post on weekends, unless there's a combat.

20-Point Buy, if I get enough to launch I have the player's guide for the Adventure Path as well.

Just curious, did this game ever get off the ground?

We've started but I wouldn't say we're "off the gound" yet.
