At this juncture, Lucius is content to let Cassiel debrief all present. If Avincus has any Tyrannic War Vet-bro questions or Tyranid-specific questions, then Lucius will jump in.

I am mostly interested in interacting with Dario - obiviously - as I miss him greatly and I have to get to the bottom of this Assassin situation with him. Lucius doesn't mind sharing that information with Avincus as well, but for now he is going to keep the Inquisitor out of it. So that will have to wait.

So, he wants to set up a private meeting with the two of them when the opportunity provides itself.

I hope everyone is ready because I plan on having a shitload of PC-to-PC interactions in this break between missions.

Im wondering about what Lucius just recommended. It seems almost out of character for him. Was there any particular reason he would have them suicide?

After all, he would fight his way from here to terra for a battle brother and most of the NPC's youve come across, but he just recommended they blow themselves to smitherines so the nids lose out on a light snack.

The IC has me really confused. Of course Lucius wouldn't simply condemn billions of souls just because. But the way I read it, Avincus said we are just watching the planet because it is already lost.

The are doing the survey in order to convince the admins that its sending more men to castobel wont be a waste.
There is no official report, and no word from the planet since the shadow fell. Judging by past tyranid habits, the planet has already been consumed. But the admin wont act on a simple hunch. they want a written confirmed report.

And I had read that you simply said the hives should blow themselves up, hence Avincus' accusation of callousnes. I didnt read that they would die to the last first. (This is exactly what Lokk did on castobel that gave them a fighting chance to begin with)

UNless anyone wants to add anything else, were done with the debrief.

Who's hunting genestealers and who isnt? Those who are not will still have IC duty to fill out.

Bleda will hunt some Genestealers.

I think we may need to wait on the hunt until hydrako is back. Hes no longer "imprisoned" in terminator armor.

I just realised that we are on the Soulsmear rather than Erioch which changes my plans somewhat. Since Hydrako now has to keep the kid occupied until he can be sent away, should it we make this an extended test to make sure he has a hold on the kid until we reach a ship that can sail off into the blue with him. Hydrako can begin training him until they get back to base to prepare him for the trials.

OR

Is there a secret shuttle that can be sent away with one pilot back to base and he can be shot into the void from there to find his Predator Fleet?

There is definitely no way to get him back to Erioch/fleets via shuttle, as shuttles have no warp capability. Warp drives and gellar fields, navigator suites ect take up whole subsections of a ship. In fact, the soulsmear is one of the smallest warp capable ships you have access to.

So its time to begin the school, or more aptly, gam.

Its a question of who REALLY knows where the space marines come from. Surely planets that have the ritualized combats and all that might know, but Im not sure thats not something most imperial citizens would, even someone who grew up in the schola.
