Hydrako weathered the first blow of the lightening claw, feeling it drag through his plastron and ribplate underneath. His nostrils flared at the faint scent of seared flesh and the pain drove his chainaxe into a blur of motion in retaliation. The strictly offensive weapon first deflected an uppercut, intended to gut him, before blocking an overhead slash from the strikemaster. This left the Legionnaire's side exposed for a fraction of a second. A fraction was all Hydrako needed to turn defense into attack once more, and he stepped in close to bury the thirsting weapon into the ribs of his foe. A brilliant flash of of light saved the Strikemaster as the would be crippling blow was deflected by a powerfield. Teeth gnashed together in irritation and the blood flowing from Hydrako's mouth increased in response. What a disappointment you are, he tisks before drawing his powersword in his left hand. Our dead adorn our armour so they may lend their strength to their descendants. We care not for the views the civilised hold of our customs.

Hydrako charged back into the Strikemaster with the roaring chainaxe. It had been thwarted before in trying to rip open the traitor's chestplate, but would not be denied again. Blows rained down, fueled more by aggression than finesse, but it was working. Where the axe embodied brute force, the powersword danced in amongst the crude blows in fluid arcs that found gaps in blocks and parries. It was only a matter of time before something would land and cause blood to flow.

I definitely misunderstood the type of cover I was getting from Sapien. I thought we were behind a wall firing through rifle loops.

I mentioned it when the battle started and its on the map sheets for reference, cover here gives 5 points to legs and 3 pts to torso. It only covers half of a sm torso. Sapiens increased the armor it gives to a large amount, but its still only those locations.
He's only got 8 wounds left, hes got the hardy talent so he always counts as lightly wounded making it easier for Serephan to heal him.

Just a note here, it wasnt in your post but I wanted to address it before someone brought it up.
The strikemaster has combat master talent, so you wont get bonuses for Outnumbering him.

Double team, however is a talent and not a normal combat circumstance so you will still get that.

OOC: Attempt at Suppressing Fire on nearest Plague Marine. -20 to the roll, +10 from Bolter Mastery, +10 from Custom Bolter = 47 to beat. Dakka Dakka Dakka. 15 = 4(?) DoS.

SECOND UPDATE: I've been informed of the FAQ, and updated the damage accordingly.

IC: Iovanus was impressed that the Astartes of this age were as capable in combat as his brothers had been, and resolved to join them in battle by letting his bolter howl into the air, depositing a volley of rounds at the nearest bloated target.

Shoot the sorcerer after a full round aim (standard att/half action). Then half aim this round at Cyrax again (half action).

Orokos is showing a DB error so I can't link a few of my rolls.... however I rolled a 100 on my attack roll, so I'm spending my last temp on a reroll. Going for a head shot, I got an easy hit with a roll of 7. So many DoS gives me an extra 2d10 damage for accurate.

Sapiens surveyed the situation. Touching an ally would be sub-optimal, so he focused on alternate targets. The plague marines where a notable risk-their toughness rendered them nearly immune to bolters. For once, calculating trajectories and probabilities was mostly unnecessary-two shots where sent directly at center mass, burning plasma that ate through their armor as if it where crepe paper.

Changed my mind. With the fire doing its work and people getting caught up with each other I think that the time for Smite might be over and the time for sword-work has come. Hence Bleda will try to close the distance and join the melee instead.

Not sure what bonuses you are applying, BUT the couple I can think of are:

+10 standard attack, +10 aim, +10 distance (I assume with a rocket this could qual), +10 hatred? Do you hate traitors and have the talent? Double check your talent list to make sure you've accounted for everything.

Since I didn't do anything else, I think all of those could apply except Hatred (don't have any Hatred Talents).

Yeah. All standard/single attacks are going to net you a +10. As long as you aren't moving you should always be using the second 1/2 action to aim which is an additional +10.
