I never thought the Inquisitor seemed like the trustworthy type. But Cassiel doesn't trust easily to begin with. Maybe he had his heart broken one too many times, or maybe he believes that the 1st Chapter has been and always be the very best and everyone else is suspect at best or defective at worst...

Heath, I know it isn't technically written in their description, but is there any way to use the autosense goggles I requisitioned to our advantage here? Like, scope out the building for anything just our eyes might have missed? Spitballing here.

I should hope so, though admitedly it doesnt take much to block an augur array. Still, our friendly neighbourood dreadnought has a full auspex.

Agreed. To expedite things, regardless of the final decision, here is the roll for awareness at +0 <65. If normal autosense goggle bonus is added, it is against <85.

Ill have to look at the description for the goggles, Based on the tittle alone they sound like a way to give a scout the autosenses your armor a;ready gives (unless you lack the helmet)

If I recall, distance on an auspex is 50m or something like that.
But, Ambrose has something like 500m on his.

Actually what they do is allow you to better direct artillery/orbital bombardment on enemy positions. So, they clearly have advanced sensory suites which separate them from helmet autosenses.

So, are we walking or driving in? I'm not sure which way it is.

He said "further -10" because if you aren't trained the penalty is already -20. Essentially, those of us not trained are testing at -30.

I didn't give Bleda or Seraphan orders. I figured both of them could decide how they could best help. Cassiel doesn't know all of Bleda's powers and Seraphan usually helps with medicae if it seems appropriate. So yeah - do what you want to do. Feel free to speak if you feel it's warranted.

Following that, he wants to find a position that gives him good visibility on other threats and a good firing line on the advancing horde without having to fire through Hydrako and Ambrose (ie, if the enemy is coming from the East, he wants to take a position on the Southern wall).

Can we use Lucius' attempt at examining the defences as a starting point? Hydrako only has Assault Tactics and he is still 0 from 4 on that lol. Actually, woudl Assault Tactics help Ambrose and Hydrako in their sally out from the compond to meet the xenos? Technically a sally is an attack rather than a defence
