Name: Ruaidhri Beagan
Specialty: Ratling
Demeanor: Joker
Goals1. (Long term) To try and ensure the death, or disgrace and later death of Commissar Markham and the Lord Commissar. This is a long term goal as both the Rattlings are aware of the difficulty of attempting any action against a Commissar, but they are both patient and they are prepared to wait as long as it takes for the right situation to come about for them to take their revenge. The destruction of Commissar Markham is a direct result of his killing a member of their team, and the humiliation of the Det collars. The Lord Commissar both didn't reverse his underling's decision and is a symbol. Commissars need to disappear.
2. (Medium term) To organize the publication/ distribution of "The book of Uall the just"- the newest and most inflammatory treatise in the Imperial Creed. Continuing their life long hatred of priests, Ruaidhri and Uallachan have decided that simply killing them is no longer enough. Instead the ridiculous nature of their works and actions must be brought to the attention of others through the distribution of this satire. Currently they only have the one copy and will be looking to get more prints and to spread these.
3. (Short term) To get his hands on a writing skull which he can use to trade with those back on the ship in exchange for getting Uallachans book mentioned above written up.

- Spoiler:
A highly refined variant of the standard lasgun, the Triplex offers alternative firing modes making a more versatile battlefield weapon. When fired on standard mode, the weapon uses the stats listed. When fired in Precision-mode, the RoF changes to S/-/-, the range increased to 150m and it gains the Accurate quality. When fired in Blaze-mode* the RoF changes to S/-/-, and the weapon gains Proven (5) and Felling (4).
*I changed "Burst-mode" to "Blaze-mode" because it makes no sense to say it is a "burst" when the rate of fire is single. Fuckin' FFG.
** Karsith, Rhone and Artur claimed a Triplex.

- Small and stout, one might initially take the Ratling as a particularly ugly child. A second look would reveal his thick bushy red beard, hairy hands and feet and a Long Las strapped to his back that is almost the same height as him. A long scar twists down the right side of his face, from above the eye to half way down his cheek. His clothes generally look ill fitting, having been hastily refit for his short size and are adorned with various mementos linked only by their bright colour or distinctive design that he has magpied from somewhere. Regardless of the situation or place, it is extremely rare that he will not have alcohol of some form hidden on his person or pack. He is generally to be found with his partner in crime and devilment Uallachan, who to the outside observer is identical except that he sports bushy blond hair.
PersonalityFrom the outside it seems that Ruaidhri takes nothing seriously and is always making jokes or sarcastic remarks whatever the situation. Around officers he adopts a wide eyed innocence while all the while insulting the authority he despises. On the inside however Ruaidhri is much more cold hearted and will kill with little compulsion if it advantages him. As well as officers generally (though there have been some strong personalities he has respected), he hates the high born and the church with a passion. He does have his own sense of honour though, and to those who have done him a good turn or who he counts as allies he will be surprisingly steadfast and loyal. As a Ratling he is used to most of the jibes and remarks that will come his way, but sufficiently roused his desire for revenge is unquenchable.
BackgroundOriginally attached to an Mordian Iron Guard regiment with a squad of other Ratlings to quell a rebellion on Curragh IV- the almost total destruction of the regiment and the unproven assertion that the Ratlings had divided their time between killing the enemy and any priest unlucky enough to be stationed in front of them, Ruaidhri and his Ratlings had been left behind to be part of the new Planetary Defense force. Quickly boring of guard duty the Ratlings had engaged in many extra-circular activities and the Govenor was soon infuriated by their persistent insolence, proclivity to hold their own religious ceremonies (which were largely believed to be mocking), organizing large gambling rings, smuggling, incessant drunkenness, political assassination and incredibly petty larceny of his own effects. The last of these with involved the removal of all his forks led to a crack down on the Ratlings who despite their claims of innocence were sent for 6 months backbreaking work in the mines. Only three Ratlings survived the mines and following their return all of the Governors prized Tallarn steeds were found with large holes in their skulls. The Governor was found with 98 different las blasts arranged around 17 different parts of his body.
The arresting officers had no problem taking in the Ratlings who were found blind drunk on the floor of their barracks.
Report by Major Reacher (MP)
As Bastards (Literally now)Since joining the 666th the conduct of the heroic, holy and hirsute Ruaidhri and Uallachan has been beyond exemplary. Raising the faith morale and fashion sense of the penal regiment, the two were solely responsible for the imperial success on Hervara.
Due to the fact that neither was behind the wheel of their ship, it crashed upon entry and came to rest in the center of the Ork camp. While their comrades flooded the ship with terrified urine, the two took on the hoard with some bear hands they had taken from its previous owner. Ork skulls were crushed, arms plucked from sockets and their bodies used as bowling balls to strike down their comrades. The resultant game went on many hours, until the knightly Uallachan stood tall. In commemoration of his handsome colleague, Ruaidhri crippled an Ork warboss and set him on fire. The two hot-wired an imperial vehicle and exited the cave. Ruaidhri drove and Uallachan satisfied a company of Battle sisters on the bonnet, while also playing a rip roaring guitar solo on a flaming guitar. The sound of this made everyone they passed simultaneously defecate and orgasm in holy awe. A callow rebel general recognizing their clear superiority attempted to waylay our heroes with his entire armored arm. This was later found reaching far up his own arse, along with the wreckage of rebel titans, Lemon Russ's and Hellhounds.
After some side adventures, where the two siezed the entire enemy oil supply, erased the Speed Freaks from history, and through their own brilliance designed the Ordinatus- the two were accosted by a jealous member of their own regiment. Wracked with diseases and corruption beyond count and cursed to never feel the touch of another, the swamp beast Korrea tried to kill our hero's. The two were unafraid and as the terrible smelling cock-a-roach hefted her weapon high, Uallachan touched her with a golden finger. The former pit of pestilence stood before them pale and virginal once more. This was later known as the third miracle of Uallachan.
Many flocked to bask in the reflective shine of the two, including the Lord Commissar, an idiot boy who dribbled while he spoke and had to wear rubber pants, and Commissar Markham who was constantly inserting his finger into his bottom so he could smell the results. These two, who were clueless to the Imperial Creed or even how to undo their flies, were a sore trial, but after many sermons, Uallachan eventually managed to raise them to the level that they could crawl in a servile fashion in his footsteps.
Deciding that the conflict had gone on too long, the two legendary warriors summoned both of the enemy forces, namely the Ork and the Imperial heretics.......
