-Once per game session, if it’s not entirely implausible, you meet someone you know who is willing to do modest favors for you. You can decide when and where you want to meet this person, but the GM decides who they are and what they can do for you.

AppearanceFrom a distance it is easily apparent what Lola is. Her grey armoured suit glints out from beneath her dark green cloak, as well as the end of her laser rifle. Her short black hair, and her wiry toned frame and the impression of constant awareness, brown eyes constantly scanning give further evidence if needed of a soldier. Her right cheek is marked with shrapnel scars and if she ever rolls back her left sleeve, there is a tattoo on her forearm of a cracked cog. In repose she is generally found crosslegged and with a pipe.
PersonalityIn almost all her actions and activities Lola gives an impression of constant motion and energy. There is a fire burning deep within her and it warms every activity she does, from training, to talking, drinking and even sedentary activities such as reading or sleeping are approached in the manner of a coiled spring being compressed ever further. The only exception to this is when she is stalking a target or waiting in position with her gun, the only activity she appears able to relax into.
For all this energy, she is open and friendly to most that she meets, quick to talk and laugh, though this lessons the more high born or wealthy. As a rule she is very interested in finding out about people, especially if it can be done over a drink and a smoke. Her romances tend to be fast and short, though rarely intentionally.
Though she'll approach most topics with energy, if the subject ever turns to politics Lola will show her real fire.
BackgroundLola grew up in a poor family, in the middle of six siblings. Education beyond 16 was not an option with so many mouths to feed, and so she was brought to work in the same factory as her parents and siblings. Unlike them though, who generally kept out of trouble, Lola's head was turned by activists in the workforce. It wasn't long before she'd joined them and their fight to institute a union within the factory floor. Management objected to their activities and the protests and disturbances quickly escalated over one hot summer to a mass riot which ended in the death of a security officer and one hundred and forty factory workers.
While Lola had not been directly involved in any of the deaths, she had still been pointed out as a member of the group. While the top leadership had been arrested and put on trial, she along with some of the junior members had been forcibly conscripted into the Silent Legion. The factory manager had been of the belief that in her case considering her young age, that this would be as good as a death sentence. However, and despite the deep hatred that Lola nursed for Freyer, she settled into a soldiers life quickly and started to thrive.
The cogs of the machine failed to grind her down, and her experiences carrying out the orders of those above, only made her a more committed anarchist. By this point she had spent ten odd years with the Silent Legion. Her record in this time was one of two halves. A skilled tracker and sniper, she'd taken part in many operations and had a very commendable kill record. Despite the many years she'd spent with them though, she'd only risen from the bottom rank twice and both times these had been taken from her in quick succession. The list of disciplinary measures was almost as long as her kill streak, and mostly consisted of lack of respect to officers, and the possession of banned literature.
It had become apparent to Lola over the last year, that she would not be long in the Legion, and she was hungry to move on and to gain more autonomy over her life. Until now, she'd been limited in what she'd been able to do and she needed her freedom to expand this. In terms of goals, Lola was very simple. The complete destruction of Freyer, and the means of production turned over to the workers. Even if by the time they reached the workers, there were no means left. Sometimes you needed to tear everything down before it could be rebuilt. From her position within the Silent Legion she is aware that this will not be an easy task, and with the snipers patience she is aware that they will need to wait for the opportune moment. Until then she wants to make contact with other activists spread out on distant planets, with the aim of helping build a coalition to achieve this.
