Armour
Auream Carapace
Once a standard accoutrement of Filianatis armsmen, the Auream Carapace is a pressurized suit of armor infused with auramite and equipped with advanced helmet systems. Over the millennia, its method of manufacture was forgotten, and various suits where either lost, damaged beyond repair or traded away. The Filianatis dynasty now has 7 on hand; and the other 6 currently equip the patriarch’s bodyguards. Your carapace is peculiar however. It possess a number of slots that would allow for extensive improvement of the armor, should such equipment be found.
- AP 7 (All), Weight 16, Best Quality, Modular, Advanced helmet systems, Secret
- Inbuilt Vox-caster.
- Auto-senses: Heightened Senses (sight).
- Preysense: Dark Sight trait; at the best Craftsmanship level, also grants the user the ability to always make an Awareness roll against a hidden target as a free action.

Yes for the aptitudes.

Also, you should have 4900 XP spent total (4500 base, 500 to spend at character creation)

Finally, you are missing your single special item selection, with an acquisition bonus of +0. You can also have any number of items of common availability & common craft.

For my +0 bit of equipment, I'd like to go off piste.

Advanced helmet systems gives various bonuses (its Very Rare), but I'd like to change it a little. My storm trooper carapace which was gifted to me by my father, can I combine it with the helmet and change it so that it gives...

Sealed environment with a GQ photo visor? It would have an oxygen supply to match that of a void suit?

I'll allow you to exchange your Stormy carapace & your helmet systems for a Pressure Carapace (Hostile acquisitions p.62) with advanced helmet systems. Essentially, a stormtrooper voidsuit.

It's a back up weapon. You don't shoot a plasma pistol when you're near the hull, right. Or in similar situations.

Might I recommend upgrading the pistol to Good craftsmanship, and maybe grab a silencer as well, so that it becomes a stealth weapon? I believe both should be automatically available at our availability level.

No problem. You'll probably want to look into specialist ammo for it eventually, there is quite the selection for solid projectile weapons.

I think Alexium and San-Sebastian (Roderick as well) would get along well. While Alexium and San-Sebastian don't have a linked background (yet at least), your PC's penchant for exploring the lower hives and getting into trouble could work well with my PC's penchant for mischief and being something of an alcoholic/party animal when the situation arises. Indeed, they both even have it in their hearts to ensure the success of the Filianatus family and dynasty. Even their loyalty hierarchies line up; I think they would understand one another well, but I don't want to force it.

What do you think?

Sorry, been meaning to reply to this for a while. Yeah I think they've got a good chance of friendship. San-Sebastian does have a bit of a wild streak although he does suppress it a fair bit as he doesn't want to loose his chance at the high life.
