Could work but turning into a say a Silk Worm, Tembo, Dagorran, or maybe even a Jhakar (all of these are medium creatures from the Dark Sun 4E Bestiary) might scare them off.

| Lets get things moving again. https://orokos.com/roll/791322https://orokos.com/roll/791323Throd fumbles. I havent found any rules for sun sickness, so we will wing it and -2 to all skill, attack, and save tests. This will get progressively worse until fixed, Ie a full 24 hr rest. So first day goes smoothly, except throd underestimates the heat. Need another round of tests. This one has a harder DC. | |

| Hmmm, might need to take a break. Possibly use the two erdlu's as shade and take turns resting and standing watch.
Anything Thrud might be able to do for use being an earth elemental?

| Carn is on Hiatus as far as I am aware.
Looking at his Pc sheet, nothing obvious sticks out at me. Although hes got mucho bonuses to resist exhaustion I missed when I rolled. Hes got an explorers pack, perhaps if you guys have more you can lash the bedrolls together to make some sort of makeshift tent? A tent in a bad storm could bury you though so Its up to you.

| Igto and Apollon have explorers packs as well. Getting more of a makeshift sun cover might be better instead of a tent. Would also keep that possibility of being buried by sand down. | |

| You wont have to worry about the sun in a sandstorm. Thats about what you see, its what you've seen all day, | |

| I say we just form some makeshift cover for the time being. Could use the items in our explorer's packs, but a break is needed. Might have to make the cover pretty big though to fit Igto....or just use him as the cover. | |

| Oh, don't want to wear the big guy out. He might be a walking mountain but that mountain would be soaking up a lot of heat. | |

| Someone make a survival check to tie the bedrolls together for a makeshift tent.
Dont forget the heat exhaustion -2 mods.

| For a Survival check Lokee should take a stab at it first (he still has a +3 even after the -2 from heat exhaustion). | |

| So Throd is at the third level of heat exhaustion. -2 to rolls, disadvantage on same, and needs to take a long rest o regain HD.
Until I find concrete rules for this, thats max effects.
Igto is at the second level now. Apollos and Lokee saved.
A perform check wont hurt. A check will allow 1 PC to skip the worst effect for that day.

| Im NPCing Throd till further notice.
IC is open. Throd has practically collapsed, though this is more flavor than any effect.

| Wait, I thought Lokee passed his CON save? It shouldn't be at a -2 as far as I understand how your doing the penalties. Also, Lokee has a +5 in survival. So even with a -2 he's at +3. | |

| He had failed his first Con save, so he had the -2. Passed the last 2, but the effects from the first one were still in place. | |

Got it. So even with his +3 I'm taking it his Survival check was no good?

| Ya. The last one I rolled was Lokee's 3rd survival test.
These modifiers are stacking. So once you fail it takes a full day of rest to get rid of them.
