Yes! The smuggler has the key to it on his body. Inside, you find a Heavy Blaster Rifle with a Galactic Arms XA Classic Bipod attached to it, 6 Stun grenades, and 235 credits.

Nicely done. Life forms can be detected in two of the caverns (there are three). Large metallic objects are giving readouts in the caverns, and they are likely spacecraft. A smaller metallic object is orbiting the asteroid and Nulyn can deduce that this is probably a sentry droid. There is also a heat source on the surface of the asteroid, which is likely a starship on standby.

There are a few options with the sentry droid. It is not powerful enough to scan all around the asteroid, and you have some time to try and maneuver, but it will still have to be quick. This will require a Hard (3 Difficulty Dice) Piloting (Space) Test to gain entry unnoticed. Tuth will also immediately know that the droid can be jammed (this will require an Average (2 Difficulty dice) Computers check. Tuth also knows the droid will fight back after being jammed, but at least it can't send messages.

That is pretty dark, but I like it. I can have that you shot him. I know it isn't as cool now, but if that's what he would have done, I can have it done.

Did you mean on the droid? He isn't wounded per se, just superficial scratches and a few loose wires, so what you are doing now is fine.

If the medic test is for someone...I don't think anyone took any damage. Enemies in the Star Wars universe are lousy shots.

I will make this a Hard test with a bit of a twist as you are trying to find out multiple things. 2 Difficulty Dice and 1 Challenge die.

I don't think you can see anyone Syl. This Stun grenade should bring them out and about, but right now you can't see any movement. Gave that one to Dave due to his Perception test. After the stun grenade, it will be combat, so everyone get me some Init rolls in please.

Someone just got fuckin blasted.

We can hold that beautiful roll and the one Syl did for once you guys have eyes on someone, which should be shortly.

The grenade was a success and in the process, Dobah and another will more than likelt (depending on rolls) stagger from it and make themselves visible to you all as they try to regain their composure. The stun grenade will start combat.

Vigilance Checks for NPCs:
Dobah - 1 Success, 1 Advantage, 1 Triumph (botched the roll, so 1 Advantage should be the correct total) - The Triumph will mean he can make an extra Maneuver on his first action.

I think I did Initiative a little wonky last time. Should be similar to a normal initiative check, with PCs and NPCs trading off based on rolled Initiative, but ANY PLAYER can use any slot on their respective team (group, whatever). Same with NPCs.

So, for example, while Thain is first based on his roll, he doesn't have to the be the first to act. Someone else may act in that specific slot if they want. Thain could wait until Seb's slot comes up and act then if he wanted to. But there is still a semblance of trading actions between groups of adversaries rather than one whole team going and then another whole team going. If that rambling makes any sense, great. If not, I apologize.

In any case, you guys are up first. Dobah has been Stunned (takes 8 strain damage from the nade) and Disoriented 3 (adds a black die to all his rolls for 3 rounds). He will stagger into view, in which case I assume Thain will shoot him.

I get +1 difficulty dice for using auto fire.

It looks like they might be kind of far apart to hit both, but hmmmm if you made a sweeping arc like it says in the CRB, it could work. I would say it would be 3 Difficulty Dice, with 1 upgraded to a Challenge Die (that's including the one from Auto Fire).

Braybric will run forward into cover for a closer position.

Braybric takes advantage and moves out from behind the shipping crates, making his way in a roadie run towards some other debris that would keep him safe. He hoped against hope that the angry wookie drew all the attention and left none for him.

Thain will rinse and repeat - staying in cover and away from the forward positions. Fighting up close is a much dumber man's game for himself. Leave it for the wookies.
