2) To keep Rhone safe and in charge. The Sarge has kept them all under his wing and protected and now that they are free, he will do his best to pay back the man in full.
3) To learn as much about weaponry as he can. He wants to be able to kill any threat with anything at any time.

Stubbs is a big mo' fucka. Solid muscle, ripplin' through any armor he has had the pleasure of wearin' for the emperor. His skin is like midnight, almost so black that it's blue, his pearly whites shining through in any light. On his top row of teeth, one glints of gold, bustin' out into the open. Completely bald, and likin' to keep it that way everywhere, tattoos line his body and legs, out of sight unless he gets neked, which is often.
Personality:
Stubbs tends to always have a smile on his face, everything one big joke that only he gets. He loves to pump up his squad and go in guns blazzin', balls deep into any situation. Plannin' is for pussies. Just take it to the hole and get the enemy on the ground as fast as your fuckin' body lets you. Always ready and willin' to get himself into a fight, but not the smartest man you've ever met. Stubbs makes up for it in pure, solid toughness and skill with guns. He comes off as abrasive and loud to most, but once you really know him, you'll usually find yourself lovin' him.
Background:
Stubbs is always one for disobeyin' orders. Barb is a loose cannon who can rage like the best of them. This brought them together in their previous regiment, Most of the time him and Barb were goin' off on their own, fightin' their own battles and takin' it to the enemy quicker, faster, harder, and better than any other in their previous regiment. They would always be punished for it, but with a bit of leniency, considerin' most of the time they would complete the objective much quicker and with more ability that most. Everything was goin' great and they continued in this fashion for years, together makin' a name for themselves as a part of their previous regiment. It was all goin' well until one day their commanding office was killed in battle. His leniency would not pass on to the next leader.
Soon, the pair found themselves in hot water, but oh boy was it a way to go out. Instead of holdin' the line and obeyin' the orders of their commanding officer, they rushed into the fray, explosions ringin' in their ears and bullets rippin' through their clothes. They took it to the enemy just like before, slicin' through them like a hot knife through butta, pumpin' lead into their stomachs and laughin' as the entrails fell to the ground. Soon they found themselves overwhelmed, but continued on despite grievous wounds. But this time, it ended differently. With their heroic act, they had inspired others in the regiment to join them, surprisin' the enemy with a quick offensive that ended the battle for victory in the name of the Emperor. Despite their courageous act and ensuing victory, they were both severely injured and placed into a medical ward to heal up. It was here that they were visited by the newly-appointed Commissar Hughes, where he informed them of their immediate discharge and subsequent choice of either death or The Colony. A veritable kick in the fuckin' teeth while they were down and out...
Stubbs and Barb looked at one another and, after a few moments, grins spread over their broken and battered faces.
It'd sure be fuckin' nice for a change of scenery.
