I think we're just counting DoF; a 5 degree success or a 1 degree success are both 0 failures (so neither hurts you). By that metric, on the 7th round you hit 11 DoF (cumulative total).

I would have hit it (and hard) on the 5th round).

From what I am seeing,

Khol is out first - 10 DOF total by round 4
Cassiel is out second - Round 5
Lucius is out third - Round 6
Grimnir is out fourth - Round 7
Hydrako takes the show - would have been out in Round 9

Major bragging rights. But better yet, team bonding - especially with Khol and Grimnir FTW.
