| Tekahionwake* "Big Joe" Whitepaws(*Mohawk Native American name meaning "double life") BioPlaybook: Cutter (Terror) Heritage: Severos - Former honor-warrior of the semi-nomadic horse clans Looks: Male (he/his); Athletic, Muscular, Proud, & Brooding. This dude will fuck your world up. Background: - Labor (Mechanizer & Bear Clan pride fighter); Tekahionwake was the Severosi Bear Clan's champion. It was up to him to preserve the honor of his people and defend them from the Dog and Snake Clan's best. He failed. His shame was unbearable, and forced him to flee so as not to face his people's new servitude. He will regain his honor. Vice & Purveyor: - Stupor, Public Fighting Pits & Underground Battle Circuits: The pits provide penitence for Whitepaws' past failure to protect his clan. The fights he partakes in during his downtime are both training and therapy. They quiet the screaming demons inside. It helped that Sawtooth was also from Severos, long before Big Joe's time. Even though he's never revealed what tribe he belonged to in his old life, that common bond gives him a lot of credit. He continues to patch up Big Joe from time to time. - Chael (-): A vicious thug who Whitepaws has seen on the underground fighting circuit from time to time. He clearly has a chip on his shoulder and means to intimidate all through violence. Maybe one day Whitepaws will get to turn that chip into a massive crack. Planning & LoadAssault: Point of AttackDeception: MethodStealth: Entry PointOccult: Arcane PowerSocial: ConnectionTransport: RouteGather Information- How can I hurt them?- Who's most afraid of me?- Who's most dangerous here?- What do they intend to do?- How can I get them to [X]?- Are they telling the truth?- What's really going on here?Goals & Ambitions- Feeding the Dogs and Snakes to the Bear: Return the Bear Clan to its former glory. Tekahionwake's loss to the Dog Clan's champion forced his people into a position of subservience and tributary status (lest they go to war with both the Dog and Snake clans). That shame haunts Tekahionwake and drives him. Either through connections and force, or wealth and resources, he will return his people to their rightful place at the top of the Severosi clans.

| 1) Do you know how your character got to doskvol and what they are doing here? Not sure if I've missed that or if you havent figured it out yet or what. Dont NEED an answer this second but could give us some ideas as to how you get introduced to party. 2) I invite you to review the official PC sheet for cutter to get a rough idea of how and why I mapped things out on the PC sheets here https://bladesinthedark.com/sites/default/files/sheets/blades_sheets_v8_2_Cutter.pdf3) I edited the playbook xp section to read 0/8. Basically you have 4 spots to place XP you earn, insight, prowess, resolve, and your playbook. I number them as when you hit the cap (8/8 for playbook) thats when you "level up" that section of your character. Levelling up an attribute (these are insight, prowess, and resolve), you take another point for an action under that attribute. When you level up your playbook, you get another special ability. 4) Looks like you put your points into wreck and prowl? Just be aware that there is some benefit to spreading out xp "wide" rather than "tall" (ie, putting a little xp in a lot of action dots), especially across attributes. When you resist consequences, it will be helpful to have at least 1 point in a variety of actions in one specific attribute. Right now youll be great at resisting physical consequences, not so much resisting consequences related to other matters. I dont think your character is imbalanced by any means especially since youre a cutter, but something to be aware of. 5) Take an extra 4 XP as means of catching up with the party a bit. You can place it in any XP track you like. _________________ "Don't mess with me, lady. I've been drinking with skeletons."

| 1) I haven't read enough into the setting to have that plotted out yet, but I would like to. The basic idea is that his shame forced a self-imposed exile and Duskvol was the natural place to head to, but the details on how he got there are thin right now. Ideas?
As for what he is doing, the ultimate goal is to make enough money OR gain enough power to go back to the tribes and end his clan's (Bear Clan) subservience to their rivals (alliance of the Snake and Dog clans). Their subservience as a tributary clan is directly tied to his loss against the champion of the Snake clan. The only way he can rid himself, and clan, of this shame is to bring the Bear Clan back to their rightful place on top of the Severosian Horse Clans.
2) Hell yeah. Downloaded and checking it out.
3) Cheers. Aside from putting XP points into skills like hunt, attune, etc., can I place XP directly into the Attribute (say put 1 or 2 pts into Prowess) or does that happen mostly via roleplay at your discretion? Same question for playbook.
4) OK awesome. Thanks for the heads up. I am going to use that 4 to spread out a little bit more.
5) Placed them in Hunt, Finesse, Attune, and Playbook. | |

| 1) There's certainly ample trade and travel between Severos and Doskvol so it would make sense that he hopped on a boat or a freighter or whatever, so that all tracks!
3) So XP can ONLY go into xp trackers for Prowess, Insight, and Resolve - it does NOT go directly into your skills. That's why Prowess has 0/6 xp written out, its your XP tracker for that attribute. Once you have filled up 6/6 xp in prowess, you get a point for one action under prowess. Same with the other 2 attributes.
You can absolutely get XP through roleplaying, but we can get more into that later. _________________ "Don't mess with me, lady. I've been drinking with skeletons."

| Ok, XP and action dots look solid now.
Honestly, this PC looks dope AF. I'm excited. I'm sort of imagining Dave Bautista lol.
One last thing - under the dangerous friends section, one of those is your friend, one of them is your rival or enemy. You'll have to pick which is which and denote that somehow on your sheet. We used V (down arrow for rival) and ^ for friend, but a + or - would work too, or even writing out friend and rival. _________________ "Don't mess with me, lady. I've been drinking with skeletons."

| Session 3 XP
Every time you roll a desperate action, mark xp in that action's attribute.
At the end of each session, for each item below, mark 1 XP (in your playbook or an attribute) or 2 XP if that item occurred multiple times.
You addressed a challenge with violence or coercion. - 1 XP (Ambush on the boat) - 1 XP (WRECKING the Horse Drawn Carriage like a beast) You expressed your beliefs, drives, heritage, or background - 1 XP (Sword Kills driving background goal of wrecking Snake/Dog clan & creation of Severosi Whip-Rider lore); perhaps too thin to bank 2 XP from. You struggled with issues from your vice or traumas during the session.
