Backstory:Hailing from the famed forge world of Voss Prime, the home of titan legion of Invigilata, Magos Lazarus is an ancient creature. An master of his trade, Lazarus was always uncompromising man, and with the passage of time his hardline opinions are growing ever more extreme. Every ritual must be observed, every rule must be followed. Adherence to dogma is of paramount importance and more then one subortinate tech-priests in his service has suffered compulsory transformation, or as Lazarus calls it ascension, into one of the countless mindless servitors that toil in his personal forge.
To Lazarus, every machine is a miracle, and should be treated as one. His apperance is always pristine, his metal augumentations polished to perfection, his weapons brimming with unleashed energies and his red and yellow checkered robes spotless. When working on even the lowest kataphron or a most mundane rad carabine, Lazarus strives for perfection. To see even lowliest machines in state of disrepair is a sure way for Lazarus to feel almost palpable anger.
The Fabricator-General of Voss Prime has personally tasked Lazarus to represent forge world interests in the nascent expedition to the Halo stars. As with most Mechanicus expeditions goals, Lazarus primary objective is to identify any potential STC technology and ensure that it is safely returned to Mechancius hands (and to ensure a copy finds its way to Voss Prime). His secondary objective is a more secretive one. In the time-honored tradition of inventors which dates to the dawn of humanity, Lazarus is tasked to inconspicuously extract a secret of stabilising plasma technology from his fellow expedition tech-priests, a procedure that had eluded Mechanicus of Voss Prime
for untold millenia. Magos also has his personal agenda. He is always striving to better himself and his art necromechanics. He also wants to be certain that the blurred line that separates the sacred works of the Omnissiah from the tech-heresy is never crossed. That his view are probably different for at least a part of the expedition is a point of concern to Lazarus, for he knows he is not amongst subjects but amongst peers.
