Here are notes I had from the meeting with the attorney on Astyoc:
1) Shop for the right lawyer. Might not have much choice, though. Looking for business and property.
2) Create company. Graham president, Jasper and Senn managers, Statton, Elan, Taelor advisory board of directors.
3) Need contacts with government (property claims), power company (to sell reactor), and IT/computer specialist.
4) Lawyer needs to write NDAs with power company and IT specialist.
5) Agreement with government would establish rights in the government and starport areas of old city, and government would get 5% cut of value hauled out of those areas.
6) Agreement with power company would be to sell the reactor to them (price undetermined), but they have to help us haul the reactor out, and retrieve Cerebrus and nanite production
7) Agreement with IT specialist would be to extract several things from Cerebrus' hard drives.
These were Thelonius' responses to these items:
1) Connect/Cha DC 8 (success will carry a +1 on some trade rolls later)
2) nothing to do, just come up with a name
3) same connect as in 1 for each, failure will still get you a contact but a less competent one
4) no action needed
5) that will be a legal 'battle', so that i need to figure out still
6) trade/Cha and +1 if 1) succeeded
7) trade/cha for price negotiation
In the time that we were gone, Jasper, Senn and the attorney should have been working on:
1) Arranging to get the reactor out
2) Arranging to get Cerberus out
3) Arranging to get security drones out
4) Arranging to get the nanite production out
5) Ensuring that we have the patent to anything having to do with the nanites, and adapting the nanites to rapid delivery of medicines across a population
6) Getting the IT company to extract the code for controlling the nanite production, performing maintenance, and controlling security drones
7) Getting the IT company to extract data regarding financial transactions
Set up contract that any financial windfalls from item #7 belong to STEGO, with 10% going to IT company as a bonus
