Background:
Elan is a classic scoundrel with a poor work ethic. The irony is that Elan is so determined not to work a day in his life that he's put a massive amount of effort into becoming a skilled thief. He doesn't think of robbing and stealing as work though; he thinks of it as good sport. It also provides him the opportunity to procure luxury items he could never afford on his own. While not physically strong, he's nimble and has eyes in the back of his head, both of which are valuable in his line of work.
He's still young and not terribly mature. If he can stay alive - and out of jail - he just might make something of himself one day. The ace up his sleeve is his wild psychic talent, the ability to generate telekinetic energies in a limited fashion. Appearing unarmed and unarmored is often his way of avoiding undue scrutiny from the law. Occasionally it can make him a mark from those who suspect that he's defenseless, but - being a criminal himself - he's rarely surprised or caught unaware.
