Background:
"It had been a good day", Kolya thought brooding over his glass with the tiny sip of golden, spicy liquid. Finally the little girl was back at home and her captor brought to justice. People who targeted children were the worst. Plus, another 1000 credits earned to send back home. To the Hayesons. It had been more then 15 years now, since that dreadful incident that had changed his whole life. 15 years and many credits to make up for his stupid mistake. He had been young and ignorant and one drunken night was enough to ruin that families life forever. The fire had been sky high and the screams... God the screams haunted him to the day. But he was working on his redemption, one scumbag at a time.
With a quick move he emptied his glass and left.
Kolya is the son of a rich family running a large IT company back on his home planet Khocheni. Until his twenties he was a spoiled, irresponsible brat, only worried about the next party and stunt they could pull.
But one night during a party an accident happened and as a result a nearby warehouse burnt down and with it the livelyhood of a small family business, the Hayesons'. Some members of the Hayeson family were in the warehouse at the time and suffered permament injuries and the family never really recovered from the incident, neither financially nor in health.
For Kolya it was a wakeup call and he wanted to help the Hayesons, but his parents would not hear of it. They considered it a waste of money and that it was their own fault that the Hayesons did not have proper insurrance. They only made the legal consequences for Kolya go away and for them the topic was over.
Not for Kolya. He left home and started to earn his own money sending back every credit he could spare. As he always had a knack with pistols and having developed an almost obsessive need to fight for the helpless, he started hunting criminals, collecting any reward officials and victims were willing to give him.
Kolya is a calm person, always trying to solve conflict peacefully. But when the helpless are being exploited he develops a righteous anger and will not stop before wrong has been righted. He is not a hot head in combat, but rather a pragmatic fighter. He does not fight for the kick or the blood, but simply because it is a means to an end. He is not one to crave the newest or most powerful weapons, afterall he still trusts his first semi-automatic he got when he started his crusade.
He is easy-going and friendly, except for some moments, typically in the evening over a drink, when he gets in a brooding mood. He is then best left alone until the moment passes.
