Born to the Ratfolk swarm in the Darklands caverns under Nidal, Quequek had what some would term a difficult childhood. Beaten, mutilated, made to suffer uncountable tortures. All in all a normal Nidalese upbringing. Quequek endured these tortures the same way all Nidalese children do, by embracing them. His love of new and inventive sensations drove him to the study of alchemy, and then further to the sea.

Faith is his touchstone, alchemy his bailiwick. He sees Kuthon as a deity of love. For would it not be love for all sentients that would bring a deity to teach his people how to free themselves? So Quequek teaches the path to enlightenment, pleasure mixed with pain till all is beautiful agony.

He has traveled from ship to ship, a good surgeon to be sure but not one who finds employment for long. So search again he must, he knew his lord would eventually provid him a new canvas with which to paint his masterpiece. Soon he would have a new subject, maybe found within this tavern, maybe upon the next ship. Either way, his time would come.

You have put ranks in 10 skills, but you only have 9 skill points.
Don't quite know where the +13 in alchemy came from - I have +11, +12 to create alnchemical items.
Also not sure where a lot of your features under race came from. For ratfolk I have:
darkvision, rodent empathy, swarming, tinker.
You have: Lowlight Vision, Cleanliness, Cheek Pouches, Tinker, Surface sprinter - I can't find where you got these from, or even what they are.
Also not really thrilled with three stats under 10, and none of those being ten before racial mods - it's allowable yeah, but I don't really like it.

Clean up issue on the sheet I didn't catch. Should be +1 skill/lvl favored bonus not 1/6 discovery hence 10 skills.
+13 was in error and will be fixed to correct amount after we figure out stats.
Alternate racial traits, if you do not allow alternate racial trait I will revert to ratfolk standard. Archives of Nethys has permission to keep up with pathfinder releases and use copyrighted material so they are a better source for pathfinder if you do not have access to all the books.
Understood, I like to play around glaring weaknesses that help define characters. A physically weak and sickly rat that uses his intelligence and agility to cover over those issues feels like what I am wanting to go for. Would 5 16 9 20 14 10 work for you, or would you prefer 5 16 12 18 14 12? I would like to keep his strength where I have it as a flaw he must always compensate for.

If you are just unhappy with Quequek in general, be it the general design or character arc, I can easily switch off to the monk idea if you give me a night to rebuild. Game has to be fun for you to run as well, and if my character breaks the feel of what you I am happy to fix.

I do allow alternate traits, just need a link to them on d20pfrsd.org.

If you really want the 5, you'll need to have the second set of stats. The character is also going to struggle in a game where acquiring wealth is the main goal. Your call as to whether you're willing to struggle along without the facility to carry wealth in a pirates game or rethink the character.

Well aware of the limitations of the strength. Later on, between the golems, the poppets, and the undead, I should have carrying big things covered. Till then, small easily transported wealth items, or why you wear ear rings as a pirate.

One other question, do you have an issue with switching out for Gun chemist, I know some people like to keep guns out of their fantasy settings so figured I would ask first.
