| As you guys know, two of my games haven't made the transition to the new site yet. There's the Deathwatch game and my Tau spec ops game.
Which one would my players like to see come over first and do you have the time to dedicate to reprising your roles?
1) Deathwatch "Pray For War"; players: Syl, Murcurie, Hydrako, Nitafrong, Carnelian, g10rsh (who has no time for RPGs at the moment), Fixxxer (Not yet active on this site), and Cronono (Not yet active on this site).
2) Tau "Shadow Wolves"; players: Syl, Mruozu, Murcurie, Nitafrong and Theo Jay_85 (who is not active on this forum, sadly).
EDIT: And of course, for those not involved in these games, if I brought one of them over and you wanted in, we can talk. Depending on who doesn't want to reprise their roles, those PCs will need to be NPCd before we can move them out and get new PCs in. Jay's kroot will be particularly fun. But that's up to you.
EDIT 2 (2/3/18): As of now, due to interest, I have decided to bring over the Tau game. We are currently at maximum capacity with 5 players.

| I would love to see the Tau game brought over.
However, if the Deathwatch game is brought over due to more people wanting that, I wouldn't mind getting in on it in place of one of those whom are not active. Either taking over their character or having a new one. If you'll have me...<3

| After picking up my second job, I don't think I have time for more games. I think not being in the DW game would be less impacting than not being in the Tau game.

| Looks like Tau 2 (Mark and Nate), Deathwatch 1 (Dave), and Syl could do either.
Also, Fixxxer will not be reprising his character from Deathwatch.

| Neither have I. I cannot get into contact with him, sadly. If you have his email rather than PM on here, that might help. He was super gung ho about his character, but he never made the switch. | |

| Shot him an email, we'll see if he comes over. To be honest I probably would've stopped checking up on the site if my only game died too. Hopefully we'll see him soon. | |

| I'd be up for joining the Tau game but I wouldn't want to play a Tau as I'm doing that in the RT game. Perhaps one of the other aligned xeno races... Jeff - if you go with the Tau game what do you think would become of your DW game? Some people who are active haven't responded about it so it's not looking hopeful | |

| It isn't looking hopeful at all at the moment. Especially with two having dropped. I wouldn't retire it completely, though. I will simply keep whichever game doesn't come over on the old site and in the future, when I have time, pot another query for interest. | |

| Right now, it is looking like everyone save Jay will reprise their role in the Tau game. Carn, you still interested in that one? No tentative start date yet. | |

| Possibly, I'm going to offer my spot on the DH2 game to that new guy. If he's game I'll give it some thought on what I'd want to play... some other alien race allied to the Tau would appeal to me. | |

| As much as I'd like to be in all the games I'm going to say 'no' to this one as I do not want to become over stretched. | |

| I completely understand. No worries. The beauty of this game are the NPCs I’ve created who can fill any gaps in the small team. So, it’s all good.
Cheers

| Bit late- but my fault for not checking out this thread.
Definitely up for Pray for War continuing. If not for a while I would be interested in joining a third.

| At this point, I think I’m more set on bringing over the Tau game rather than Pray for War.
You can always run some PC ideas by the group here for the time being. Does any part of the Greater Good stick out to you?

| Hi all!
As I said on Line, (I just realised, there's so many puns open there), I'm pretty interested in a Tau game. And so, to get some conversation going for PC ideas, I'm leaning towards playing a Tau Breacher.
Tau Breachers were formed out of necessity, as the normal fire warrior units had trouble dealing with the cramped quarters of Imperial Hive Cities. Breachers are short ranged, high firepower units, designed to provide overwhelming force to key locations.
Given the normal method of warfare for the Tau doesn't usually involve getting close to the enemy, you can imagine the sorts of Tau that end up in the Breacher role. Some are overly aggressive, looking for the rush and thrill of close quarters brawling. Others see the Breachers as a tactical necessity, and therefore, their duty.
I'm looking to play a breacher, trained and used in Imperial Hives. They've seen too much, both Tau military losses, and human civilians slaughtered. Despite this, they believe in the Greater Good, and the superiority of Tau Culture, and know that there are unsavoury necessities involving in spreading the Greater Good. They'll do their duty, emphatically, even aggressively, if only to avoid the introspective questioning. Besides, they're sure that everything they've done, all of it has been necessary.

| I'm curious, could I play a kroot auxiliary attached to a tau squad for tracking, CQC, translation and other pocahontas duties? | |

I think a Breacher would be an excellent addition to the party, especially since we have lost our Kroot player who was the close combat specialist. It fills a nice gap and adds to the updated lore. If you can, please catch up on the IC from before - which I will post in due time. I need to formalize some things before we get your breacher going and I have no tentative start date as of right now other than "when it happens." Having said that, I will be steadily working on all of this. - Threebad wrote:

This is an amazing concept; sadly, I am capping the game at 5 players and this would make six. If in the future someone decides to drop out, or for some insane reason I decide to let more in, you have first dibs. Please feel free to follow along the adventure and take part in any general OOC discussion as you like. Just because you aren't in the game doesn't mean you can't comment on it. Cheers.
