Yeah, but I thought that was just a warning and that details for the characters that rolled that high would come. And especially since I rolled a second lucky die.

Would there be any way for me to catch the signal next time? Or try and keep something tuned to pick it up should it surface again? Tech Use? Or would I need to try and find some equipment? I don't remember if we have a Vox Caster or if that would help...

OK, my purpose for shooting the shit with Ambrose is two-fold. For one, I want to get some IC time with Bob, but more selfishly I am hoping to dig through those decades upon decades of battle experience, no matter how senile, to find the modicums of truth necessary to move toward one of my long term goals for this character.

Ambrose is literally a walking demigod of battle-history. There is no reason not to take advantage of that.

For now, here is a Defensive Tactics roll to see if I can help these Guardsman die a lot more slowly and kill a lot more Nids when the shit hits the fan: 34 vs 43/1 DoS

I don't see much of a reason at this time for codex astartes test, but defensive tactics is a superb idea. They are still setting up defenses and this is the best time to make sure they're done right.

Based on what you know, there will be lots of space. Bringing the chimera's in via a staggered, wide-front formation will reduce friendly casualties when they hit resistance. It would be unwise to approach in a convoy-like fashion.

So I was planning on talking to the Confessor first, because someone wanted to. Isn't that someone that isn't participating in the attack?

Gotta find him. There's a ton of shit going on in this area and it's rather large. It's not like he's got neon signs pointing straight to him.

He's here loading his stuff on barges that won't be in the initial attack.

You can ask the Lt to go straight to him and he will take you though.
