Just in case I am out when it comes to me - OOC: Guarded attack on biovore that dodged. WS 48 +30 (size/hatred) <78; rolled 53/3 DoS

Being pulled over, as he looked at the dark grayish sky, a thought came to be as clear as day if anyone was able to witness Khol. "FUBAR!!!"

As Cassiel's armor initiates a reboot sequence he lobs another frag grenade. To fight until life fled was all he knew. It had always been enough, before. Now he was away from his home chapter, but Draco would stand with him. In scant seconds Ambrose's autocannon would cut in and the horde would be chewed into oblivion. It would be glorious. And if Cassiel could survive he would live to witness it. "For Draco, for the Emperor!" he calls, delivering another grenade into the horde.

Grenade (again): 1d100 19 2d10+2 11 1d5 2

This is another where I should be able to use Degrees of Success to bump up damage to high enough (I don't know the bonus for horde size to calculate it myself). 10 Magnitude Damage

Heath, I've checked the house rules and I'm not clear when I can sub dos for extra damage. Is it whenever I am making a single attack? If thats the case I'll do an extra 11 damage, putting damage at 42. Can you clarify this and add it to the house rules? The house rules could also do with bringing over to this sub forum.

This round I rolled the exact same damage (oddly) and for some reason it isn't dead but only at 3 crits and stunned. By your original assessment it should be dead.

I think I was using the wrong biovore's wounds last round. Either that or I just eyeballed the damage, and wounds ect.

Im pretty sure it was the former as I had not placed the first one in the DEAD column yet.

He's got Master Signature Wargear, which gives you +10 to attack roll and also makes the weapon exceptional crafted for another +5 WS.

Round 5 IC: Lucius wasted little time after the unheard of agility displayed by the biovore. He swung back around, letting adamantine teeth and the Beast of Thule's ultra hardened teeth rip muscle and bone alike. The biovore was down, but not yet dead.

No matter. The Exorcine needed to die and then they needed to move on the Warrior Prime. The termagaunts meant nothing.

"Put down the exorcine as quickly as we can. The Warrior Prime is the true target. We break that, we break the horde!"

If I throw the grenade this round, will it detonate next round?

If not, I'd prefer to do something else (assuming Cassiel could reasonably know that anything that disables his armor would affect a grenade as well - your call).

But moot point anyway:

Strength: 1d100 85

STR is 53, so even if the test is easy I'd have to beat an 83 and I would just fail. Unless there are other bonuses in unopposed tests. I'm a little confused on how the Unnatural Strength [x2] that all Astartes gets applies in this situation.

All right, Lucius is going to initiative Bleed Them Dry (Carcharadons Defensive Mode) per Forging the Bond. Per Defensive Genius this costs -1, but since it already only costs 1, I think it stays at that.

This will prevent those cunts from all the AoO they have been getting on us.

Heath, this is a free action. Can we activate it now in the same way we break IC for dialogue?

With the +10 we get on unopposed tests, I think I just barely beat the TN. I rolled an 85 with STR 53. If the test is easy (+30) I'd need to roll under 83. With a +10 for being an awesome Space Marine, that'd mean I just need under 93. So 85 is good?

If so, I'll just slash around with my combat knife.

Suddenly the weight of plasteel and ceramite is wholly borne by the muscle and sinew of a man - Cassiel struggled to move without the coordinated efforts of the machine spirits. Through force of will he draws his combat knife knowing that the simple technology is all he can count on in the moment. He slashes around him but with his armor working against every movement the blade is ineffective.

Sorry bro but its still a -30. This will be the last time the armor is locked up for you as the effect ends after Bleda's turn.
And the Homragaunts moved away so you wont be locked in CC next turn either. Grenades will work as normal then too, but the gun will remain jammed until its fixed.

Ambrose OOC: 1/2 aim, 1/2 full auto Zoanthrope. Tired of its shit. For future ref. Dreadnoughts always count as having an Astartes Targeter, just in case something wants to dodge my hate.

I'm here now. I was about to try some psychic cleverness but since the Guardsmen squads on Bleda's pier are all dead I think that I'll just unjam the hand flamer and get the show moving.

The pyrovore is now flaming draco on the 2nd pier. It will hit Bleda,Cassiel, Hydrako and the prime. Due to to your position, none of you would be able to avoid the flames unless you jump off the pier, though your getting +2 armor from the crates and stuff, which will now be burning.
